Niagara Falls is such a fun little hidden gem. While I would classify it as a day trip destination, we still had a lot of fun. We also went at the beginning of September which I would highly recommend. The weather was great, the hotels were cheap, and there was hardly anyone around. Here are the top things to do in Niagara Falls.
Top Things to Do:
-Take a trip in the falls on Maid of the Mist. Canada has the same tour but called something else. This boat super up close to the falls and it fairly short. They provide a poncho for you too because you will get wet.

-Walk across the border to Canada- view the Falls from the other side. The Canada side has a full view of both falls that is just gorgeous. There are a lot of fun things you can do on that side as too- tourists sites, zip lining right next to the falls, museums and more. Don’t forget your passport!
-Visit The Cave of the Winds- get up super close to the falls. You will get wet.
-Ride the Trolley around the town
-Walk around Goat Island and visit each view point. Get a great view of the falls without getting wet.
-Go on weekend and view the lights and firework show at night. If you go on a weekday, you can still view the lights

-Walk around the little town of Niagara. There are cute restaurants, a fun park with life size games and you just feel like you have been transported somewhere else
-Explore Buffalo, we did not really do this except to go to the mall for some dinner because we arrived super late.
