Easy Patriotic Stem Activity for Toddlers: Supplies

This easy patriotic stem activity for toddlers literally takes minutes to set up and less than $5

Supplies
Baking Soda– buy the big pack, it has so many uses
Vinegar– buy the big jug, I promise. You will go through alot
-Bowl, any will work, if using food coloring, use one you don’t mind getting stained, or glass.
Condiment Bottle single, or buy the 6 pack

Optional Supplies
-Cookie Sheet, make sure it is rimmed
-Glitter, any is great, but chunky is fun
-Food Coloring- cheap food coloring works great, but make sure to either do it outside or put your bowls on the cookie sheet

Set Up: easy patriotic stem activity for toddlers

  1. Put your bowls on a cookie sheet if using, or outside, or the counter. Put 1/4 cup (don’t actually measure, just eye it)
  2. Add food coloring if using, don’t mix it or anything, just drop a few drops on top

3. Sprinkle glitter on top, as much as you want

4. Fill your condiment bottle with vinegar
5. Give to your child and have a blast!

Add more baking soda when needed and more vinegar to the bottle
