Easy Kid’s Party Favor Idea

I love to throw parties, and I love to put together fun favors to send home after the party. While favors are totally unnecessary and not needed, I love to give gifts and so this is just one small thing that brings me joy and allows me to show my appreciation for whoever took time to come. I also love that I try to have my child give the favor and say thank you if they are up for it. One of the easiest and most inexpensive party favors you can give out is homemade playdough. It is so easy to customize and you can add fun mix ins, cookie cutters, or just leave it as is. Here is how to make my favorite Easy Kid’s Party Favor Idea.

Follow my Recipe and make the playdough. This can be made in advanced and stored in an airtight container for up to 3 months. Add sparkles or whatever mix ins you would like. To gift mine, I wrapped it in plastic wrap and then placed it in an individual air tight container.

I printed off custom tags that I designed in canva and tied it to the jar with fun yarn and a star cookie cutter. It was really simple but still cute.

There are so many options you can customize your dough with. I love adding glitter and chunky confetti, but you could even add small trinkets and create a whole sensory experience as well.

I used these containers to store my dough in, but I loved this option as well and it is cheaper.
