Disney Themed Birthday Party

Disney Themed First Birthday Party. How to Throw a Birthday Party on a Budget + a free printable!

Somehow my baby turned one years old. I knew since before she was born that I wanted a Disney Themed Party. The feeling I wanted for the party was an old school nostalgia vibe. Everything turned out better than I ever imagined in my head. If you have any questions or need links for anything, check throughout the post, or dm me on instagram, that is the quickest way to reach me most of the time.

Disney Themed Birthday Party Decor Ideas:

I do not like to spend a lot of money and am always looking for deals. A balloon arch is the perfect decoration- it is cheap and packs a huge punch. Using an arch kit I bought with a coupon, and then used extra balloons lying around from other arches too. With Photoshop I created most of the printable myself and then combined them on into a 24×36 document on photoshop so I could print it as an engineering print. In total I think I spent $30 total for all the decor/ prints.

Food for a Disney Themed Birthday Party

For the food, we were soo lucky that our favorite local pizza restaurant donated pizza for us. We also had family members bring salads and I made a few easy desserts. The party was small so it was fairly easy. Utilize family members to save money, most people want to help out and are happy to do it.

I made all the decor with the exception of the castle print. I used Photoshop and then printed at Office Depot on Blueprint size paper.

I made Blair’s outfit with a onesie I already had that I just used my Cricut to cut the vinyl letters and ironed them on. For the skirt I used some scrap white fabric I dyed blue because I couldn’t find the right blue color. It was so easy to make the skirt but so cute. The idea behind it was the original Mickey Mouse Club costume.

These photo strips were my favorite. I took the photos and then just put them in photoshop (you could use canva too) and printed them on a blue print.
