Tis the season of love. I absolutely love Valentine’s Day and celebrating the loved ones in life. It is also fun having a reason to celebrate another fun holiday in the slump of winter. I love making diy wands for my kids any chance I get. Not only do they play with them year round, but I love their imagination and play they come up with from them. I also just love how customizable they are. Here is my tutorial for an Easy DIY Valentine’s Day Heart Wand

Supplies for an Easy DIY Valentine’s Day Heart Wand
I love wand projects, because they all basically use the same supplies and once you have everything for one, you can keep making more and more. For this wand, I used almost everything on hand and only had to buy the actual wand
Wands- Amazon, you could probably find these other places, but I loved the price on these ones
Paint- use whatever colors, but here is a good starter pack
Ribbon to finish- I love this silk ribbon but you could use chunky yarn or regular
Glitter and Sequins and Mod Podge- linked below
Valentine’s Day Heart Wand Tutorial
Here is how to make your own heart wand. This project is honestly so easy and can be customized to however you want. Paint the wand in any color and let dry. Grab your mod podge and start painting where you want to add your sparkles. Sprinkle on the glitter, or whatever you are using. Add more mod podge on top and keep layering until you get your desired look. You can push down on the glitter to make sure it is secure. When everything is dry, you can spray it with a clear coat to seal it or leave it as is. Tie some ribbon or yarn around the dowel and thats it!
This project is so much fun to make and takes hardly any time, other than waiting for it to dry. Let me know in the comments below if you make this!
